Spring 2025 Advisory Panel Meeting

Spring 2025 Advisory Panel Meeting

The 2025 Spring CIR Advisory Panel (CAP) Meeting was held virtually on April 24, 2025.  The meeting began with opening remarks and introductions by CAP Vice Chair, Ms. Lisa Lukefahr. This was followed by insightful presentations from CIR Director, Dr. Anand Puppala, who discussed the CIR Newsletter and TEES Research Revenues, and CIR Deputy Director, Dr. Edith Arámbula-Mercado, who highlighted TTI Revenues and Project Highlights.

The meeting also featured research highlights from Dr. Chenglin Wu, Associate Professor at Texas A&M University, and Dr. Kinsey Skillen, Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University, both from the Civil & Environmental Engineering department. Additionally, Mr. Rob Van Til, Executive Vice President of Knife River’s Central Region, was spotlighted as a CAP member.

During the CAP member discussions, led by CAP Chair Mr. Greg Baker and CAP Vice Chair Ms. Lisa Lukefahr, participants engaged in productive brainstorming sessions, generating great ideas for future CAP involvement at CIR. Topics covered included research cost shares and student support and internships. The meeting concluded with updates on the upcoming fall meeting, date to be determined soon.
