CIR Advisory Panel Board Member

Steve Campbell is the Senior Director of Infrastructure and Projects Engineering at the Pantex Plant, where he oversees system and facility engineering, reliability engineering, and projects engineering. With over 40 years of experience, Steve has led multidisciplinary engineering teams through all phases of project execution—including planning, design, construction support, testing, and turnover.

The first half of Steve’s career was spent in the private sector, where he held progressively senior roles in engineering, management, and executive leadership within an architecture and engineering (A/E) firm. Over the past two decades, he has served in key engineering leadership positions supporting the Managing and Operating Contractors at both the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas. In these roles, he has supported annual construction programs with budgets totaling approximately $1 billion.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering, both from the University of Tennessee.
